2 Proofs of Salvation

Jesus said: A tree is known by it's fruit. This is reality! On judgement day... Jesus will come for us... and look for fruit! He made us all to be fruit yielding, fruit bearing trees.

It is here, that the LORD makes it clear, that True, Born Again, Freed and Delivered Saints... will give some evidences of their saving conversion.

Much can be said on this particular... but for now, let us examine 2 vital proofs of a saving knowledge of the Truth. Again, we emphasize 'Saving' knowledge.

Men and women of God must be sold out! Head over heels in Love with Christ Jesus! First Love will be 'just that'... with these saints who walk in the LIGHT as HE is in the LIGHT!

It's got to be that way...Amen?
So many, have received a false conversion... and easy believism of sorts...that they are LEGION! There are many counterfeits these days!

Yes, way too many professors have walked an isle, waved a hand, signed a card, went into an inquiry room, and even saw Billy Graham!... saying 'come on down!' But, for most... they never received 'a saving knowledge of the truth! The fruit bearing did not come in. It was that way with me in my child life... growing up in a traditional home, in a traditional faith, sitting on a pew every Sunday! Many, many have been 'ripped off'... and never had the goods... to grow on with Christ. Without the right seed, water, nourishment, warmth and sunlight... not much is going to grow...let alone produce fruit. The Seed of Christ Jesus is not impotent!

Thank God for His Holy Word! That when the Spirit of God comes into a person... the first thing they all do... is feed on that Word of LIFE! Like any baby... they need much nourishment, and tender loving care! And then... something wonderful happens! They begin to grow! And Develop! And communicate! And enter in to Fellowship with the LORD and HIS saints!

As Christians, we all love to learn! We love to hear a new word! We enjoy the expansion and enlargement of the Word of God! But the DOING of those things that we have just learned... the employments of, and the amendments to sound teaching---
ALWAYS COMES WITH A C - O - S - T !

Notice how Jesus puts it, as He places this teaching as the final point in the 'Sermon on the Mount'... addressed just to disciples... gathered voluntarily on the horns of Terrin over looking the Sea of Galilee:

"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it."
(Matt. 7.21-27)

Consider: Jesus says 'obedience' is what makes a person Wise.... or Foolish!

"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand."
(John 10.27-28)

Consider: Obedience gives access to all the conditional promises of Jesus Christ! Hearing alone will never be enough!.."My sheep follow me!" It's then that the protection becomes operative... including Eternal Life & THEY shall never perish! All with obedience... the 1st fruit of Faith!

"And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him."
(1 Jn. 2.3-4)

Consider: The Ten great commandments of the LORD... never go out of fashion with Him!

"Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus."
(Rev. 14.12)

The apostle Paul builds his whole writing to the Romans with the phrase: The obedience of faith!
(Rom. 1.5, 6.16.d 16.26)

Dear saints... the scriptures speak plainly on this Christian evidence:

"Blessed are the Pure in Heart... only 'they' shall see God!"
(Matt. 5.8)

So then, 'They' that are in the flesh... can not please God!"
(Rom.8.8)

"They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God!"
(Rom. 9.8)

Consider: those in the flesh are self willed! That is... disobedient to God... and obedient to selfishness.

"Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous."
(1 Jn 3.7)

"Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city."
(Rev. 22.14)

"Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord: looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled;"
(Hebrews 12:14-15)

" Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God."
(2 Corinthians 7:1)

"as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance; but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.” And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in fear;"
(1 Peter 1:14-17)

"You therefore, beloved, since you know this beforehand, beware lest you also fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the error of the wicked; 18 but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen."
(2 Peter 3:17-18)

The fruit of our decision making on earth is being scrutinized by Almighty God! That, is walking in the LIGHT!

Yes my friend... these 2 evidences of Faith are an integral part of the biblical salvation. Good to the end! Amen
